Use the easiest screen for each job
A phone is convenient for entering names and making a shortlist. A television is convenient for sharing the finished choice. Find the title here, set your viewing country and open its options. Then use the chosen service’s supported TV application or device.
Casting is a feature of the setup
Chromecast and AirPlay require compatible sending and receiving devices as well as support in the application you are using. A casting icon is not guaranteed just because a catalog page opens in a TV browser. Check the destination’s instructions and select the intended screen.
A laptop connection
With a supported HDMI connection, check the picture and sound before starting. The operating system may still send sound to the laptop. A television displaying the desktop is also different from a service permitting its protected video through that connection.
Remote-friendly browsing
Use the regular movie and series links when a TV browser makes typing awkward. Your saved list lives in the browser where you made it, so it will not automatically appear on a separate television browser. List backup explains moving the choices you want to keep.
