Three different language questions
The original language identifies the production. A translated title helps you find it. A subtitle or dubbed track belongs to a particular viewing edition. Finding a film through its translated name does not establish that every service offers that translation as audio.
Choose after opening the player
Inspect its language controls before watching a long scene. Captions may include relevant sound information as well as dialogue. Where the player allows it, adjust text size, background and contrast for your screen and seating distance.
If the words arrive early or late
First check that the track belongs to the same edition. Different cuts can have different timings. Use a supported timing adjustment if the player provides one; repeatedly changing the language cannot repair an edition mismatch.
Some stories speak through images
Flow has no spoken dialogue. That makes it a different language question from choosing a dubbed crime thriller. Its production countries still matter, but they should not be mistaken for languages spoken by its characters.
